The silencer of the ASTUR<\/strong> series is intended for use with bolt and semi-automatic hunting and sports carbines with a muzzle thread of M14\u04451 caliber 7.62\u044539 or 308 Win.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In particular, this suppressor has proven itself very well when used with carbines series Vz.58 7.62.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The internal structure of the silencer is an original scheme developed by the specialists of our company and is a classic “direct-flow” seven-chamber scheme with a device for preliminary dissection of the gas flow.
The ASTUR<\/strong> suppressor reduces the sound of the shot from 24 dB to 28 dB, which is approximately 60 – 70% lower than the sound of the shot with a conventional (supersonic) cartridge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It must be said that speaking about the level of reduction of the sound of the shot, it is necessary to take into account that this value is quite subjective and conditional. It depends on many factors, such as: hearing the shooter, the conditions where the shooting takes place, weather conditions, technical capabilities and features of the carbine on which the suppressor is installed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It has long been known that any suppressor is more effective at reducing sound on sliding bolt carbines (we are talking about the shooter’s sensations) than on semi-automatic carbines. This is due to the fact that on bolt sniper and hunting carbines there is no effect of the reverse movement of powder gases. All powder gases generated during firing remain “closed” in the bolt group and can only move forward through the barrel and silencer. In semi-automatic carbines, immediately after the shot is fired, the bolt opens and part of the powder gases breaks through back into the bolt group, reducing the efficiency of the suppressor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In particular, with the Vz.58 semi-automatic carbine, almost immediately after the shot, the entire bolt moves back and the powder gases, without meeting any resistance, burst into the shooter’s face. At the same time, the suppressor works at almost 60% of its capabilities. Despite all these negative factors, the ASTUR M14x1<\/strong> suppressor shows a very decent result in terms of reducing the sound level of the shot and the accuracy of shooting, in particular when installed on the Vz.58 Carbine.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

All parts of the silencer made of D16T undergo a process of chemical treatment (anodizing), which significantly increases their service life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We do not recommend<\/strong> using suppressors for cleaning ASTUR<\/strong> liquids that contain chemical solvents. When using suppressor in adverse weather conditions<\/strong> such as: rain, fog, sudden changes in temperature, we recommend drying the device (it is allowed to blow it with an air compressor) to remove liquid (water, condensate) from the body of the device. This will protect the zunmoderator from corrosion and oxidation.<\/strong>
Each device is covered by a warranty: one year or 1000 shots.<\/strong>
